abumme — indie app studio · Tashkent

Small questions.Careful software.

We're a three-person studio building consumer apps around questions people ask every day — “what's for dinner?” and “what's today's word?”

Cookable — recipes & honest calories

What's for dinner, answered from what's already in your fridge.

You keep a simple list of what's at home — no scanning, no amounts, five items is enough. Cookable ranks what you can cook tonight, putting the ingredients that should be used first at the top.

  • Cook from what you have. Recipes matched against your pantry, spoilage-prone items first — nothing to buy on the way home.
  • Honest numbers. Calories are shown as ≈ ranges, never false precision. Over target is a fact, not a failure.
  • Cook mode. Named timers on a dark screen made to sit on a counter for forty minutes.
  • Private by design. No account. Your pantry and your plate never leave the phone.

Harf — the daily word duel

A word game for the languages Wordle forgot.

One word a day in Uzbek — Latin and Cyrillic — plus Kazakh, Russian and English. Solve it, share the emoji grid to your Telegram group, and defend your streak in the weekly league.

  • Tiles that speak the language.sh, ch and are one tile each, with their own keys — a tile is a grapheme, not a character.
  • Two scripts, one word. Play in Lotin or Кирилл — the day's word is the same lexeme, whichever script you grew up with.
  • Built for Telegram. The share grid, group leagues and tap-to-play links live where your group chat already is.
  • Streaks friends can rescue. A broken streak can be saved by a friend — the “Aziz saved your 41-day streak” push is the whole point.

The studio

Three people. Whole products.

abumme is a three-person engineering team in Tashkent. We take one product at a time from a written plan to the store — design, engine, content and paywall — and we ship the boring parts with the same care as the clever ones.

Sketch first
Every app begins as a paper-grade HTML sketch and a written plan. The product scenes above are drawn from those sketches.
One shared core
A common Kotlin core carries the matching, scoring and game logic to Android, iOS, desktop and the web — written once, tested once.
Honest by default
No guilt copy, no fake precision, no dark patterns — in the apps and on this page. If a number is an estimate, it says so.
